Now we give you, in an English version, some tips for having fun in Lima, with this special guide of the best bars in town.


A good new and fashion bar that can offer you also a dance floor. There are three different ambiances with nice music. Mostly nice girls and better to go dress up. To meet people better on Thursday or Friday. Saturday mostly for groups and couples.


Good drinks based in Pisco. Different kind of sours and Peruvian dishes to bit. Is the bar of the Las Brujas de Cachiche restaurant in their second and third floor.

Bobo bar
They have receibed young and new energy, developing the "Go Bar Nights" and changing his main decoration, but keeping their original style.
Cosmopolitan bar with the option to dance. Good cocktails, special drinks and particular schedule with original happenings. The decoration is really nice (recently changed) and is a bar where you can be yourself.
Good Party form Thursday to Saturday, wednesday is more calm.
Good to know is, that in this house there isn’t any discrimination.

Tuesday is a good option if you like electronic music.
Other day is just a place to have a drink and them go, and also just if you are in Larcomar, otheraway is not worth it to go.

Cubata Bar
Better if you are alone. A good place to know Peruvian, Colombian and Cuban girls.
Good tobaccos and simple drinks. It is open every day from 17:00. The people are friendly and warm. Every day you can find a good ambiance.
In the 5th block of the San Martin str. Miraflores.

443 Pub Cubano

Good place for dancing latin music.
They have normaly alive shows on weekends. Better to go Friday or Saturday.
In the 4th block of the San Martin str. Miraflores.

The name came from the German word that means Meeting. A good German style bar with games, food, TV’s and a lot of beers. Benavides avenue, fifth block, Centro Comercial Los Duendes, Miraflores.

Wine bar La Esquina
The wines and the tapas are here.
If you like to try different wines per glass, this is the correct place, because they have more than 30.
In the ninth block of the Berlin street Miraflores.

Entre Copas
Also a wine bar, but in this case they offer sushi as a complementary.
Ovalo Bolognesi, Miraflores.

Brenchley Arms Pub Inglés
Mostly an english pub. You can eat, play, drink and dance. Some times alive music.
Good for knowing middle age people.

Barra del Rafael
Is the bar of a quite bobo design restaurant. Good food if you want to eat, but a cozy bar where you can feel a nice atmosphere. The drinks are really good.

Martini Sushi Lounge

Is the bar of the design hotel Radisson, in 28 de Julio Miraflores. Is elegant, better if you want to impress a new girl. Not recommendable to go alone.

The Corner
A sport bar specially for American gringos. Is nice if you like this kind of places. You can eat, drink and watch your favorite game. (In the 10th block of the Larco Avenue).

Barra del Rodrigo
Is the bar of a minimalist design restaurant. Good food if you want to eat, but a realy nice bar, very elegant and not noisy.


Bar Olè

Maybe the best bar for the best drink. Please don´t go alone and better in early time, just for enjoy a pleasant time. If you want to eat the steak is great and for the lunch time is a really good option. Almost at the “Virgen del Pilar” circle.

English Bar Country Club
The historically bar of the historically Country Club Hotel of San Isidro. The one of the Alfredo Bryce “Un Mundo para Julius” novel.
Good drinks and a nice view, better during the afternoon. Unnecessary expensive.

Barra del Malabar
Good bar for pisco drinks. New mixes and good atmosphere. Then you can eat there, it’s worth it. In the first block of the Camino Real Avenue.


El Dragòn
An all bar for young and bohemian people. Now you can dance there and have some beers per jar, without spending too much. Closer to the Ovalo Balta.

A very all tavern, where you can eat a good home made jam sandwich with a beer or a pisco. Not expensive and a very bohemian atmosphere.

Many bars in one location. Performances and young bohemian atmosphere. In the Pedro de Osma avenue, closer to the main square.

La Noche
An old bar where you can find concerts, performances, expositions and a good join to the arts. It’s opened every day and the cubatas and beers are the most sealing drinks. Bohemian and artistic atmosphere.


El Cordano
A classic tapas-restaurant-bar: they called it Bodega (an Italian snack-bar of the Italian immigrants to Peru during the first part of the XX century). Today is a good mix between turist and locals. Has a lot of history y is very close to the Plaza de Armas.

El Carbone

Another old bar founded by Italian emigrants in the beginnings of the last century. The owner, an Italian old man, still working there, and we recommended it more for feel a touch of the old Lima downtown. Don’t miss their spectacular Butifarra (Peruvian jam with typical onion sauce) with a local beer or an Inca Kola. Half a block from the Segura Theater.

A good place for having a beer. Is crowd on weekends and there is also a good mix between locals and turists.

A bar for the bohemian people.
Performances, shows alive, expositions and a good meeting with the art and the artistic people. Almost in the San Martin square, Jirón de la Unión.

Bar del Hotel Bolivar

We don’t know a bar with more history. You have to go there, because you can also enjoy the Hotel. Their true name is Grill Bolivar and you can enjoy a wonderful evening having a Cathedral Pisco Sour feeling yourself in the 50’s.
